With so much conflicting, often incorrect nutrition information out there, it can be hard to know what to do. I aim to provide you with clear, understandable, bespoke advice based on the latest scientific research to support you towards your goals.

I don’t believe in creating restrictive hard to follow diets. Instead, I will get to know your habits and lifestyle and make suggestions for small changes that will benefit you. This means you are more likely to adhere to the changes and the benefits will last. 

If you’re a sports team, school or business looking for someone to present to your team, school or employees on nutrition and healthy habits, this is something I can offer too. Please contact me to discuss your individual requirements.



Sports nutrition is applicable to everyone, whether you take part in sport or not. It involves correctly fuelling the body for the activities you undertake and can help to maximise training adaptation, ensure appropriate energy levels, reduce risk of illness, and optimise body composition.

Rather than just giving you a generic meal plan and leaving you to your own devices, nutrition coaching involves:

Steve has been able to support my coaching group of development athletes at Loughborough University over the past 18 months.  Steve's advice has helped from both training preparation and recovery and also competition day nutrition strategies.  This has been particularly valuable for events such as BUCS Championships, where athletes are sometimes expected to qualify for the final and compete in the final on the same day.  These extra elements of performance preparation proved essential to one of the group winning the most recent Championship and become British No.1.


The world is changing, and athletes are no different  Therefore Steve has also helped support the three vegetarian athletes in the group to ensure they benefit and recover from training effectively and safely.


Whatever service or package you sign up for you will receive personalised, evidence based support as well as encouragement and accountability towards your goals – and of course, results!

After contacting me, I will send you a pre consultation form to allow me to find out a little bit more about you and then work out how I can best help you.


Once you send it back, we will book in a time for an initial consultation where I will get to know you and your lifestyle, discuss your goals and create a plan of how I can help you.

I believe in educating you about what foods to eat, so you can make your own, informed choices rather than giving you a strict plan to follow.

Do I need to take supplements?

I believe in a food first approach, however, if needed, I may advise some supplements. I will only ever advise supplements that are safe, effective and legal.

Every client gets their own plan, based around their likes, dislikes and goals.

You may need to reduce the amount of certain foods but you won’t need to cut anything out completely.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that sometimes life throws up surprises that aren’t preventable or foreseeable, so please contact me if something comes up that may affect your ability to attend appointments. I will try to accommodate where possible.

I require at least 24 hours notice of cancellations.

In the event of cancellations, the following will apply at my discretion:

If less than 24 hours notice is given, you are liable for the full cost of treatment, unless I am able to fill the appointment slot.


If you do not attend without notice, you will be charged for the full cost of the session

Late arrival:

If you attend later than the arranged appointment time, I will still finish at the agreed arranged time and you will lose that amount of time from the appointment that you are late (e.g. if appointment is booked for 11.00-12.00 and you do not arrive until 11.10, I will still finish at 12.00 and you will lose 10 minutes of the appointment). If I don’t have to be anywhere after the appointment is due to finish, you can pay for additional time to make up for the time you lost from lateness.
